Administrative Automation
IISER Bhopal has deployed ERP (Campus Automation Solution) solution to meet the requirements of the Institute. ERP (CAS) is a web-based solution which includes various modules like Finance and Accounts (F&A), Store and Purchase (S&P), Human Resources Management System (HRMS), Research and Development (R&D), User Requisitions, Health Center, Visitors Hostel etc. It also includes a comprehensive recruitment module. The system also incorporates a workflow system. The ERP system is also integrated with Institute’s central authentication system.
Given the continuous evolution of the Institute requirements and the changing dynamics of technology, a renewed and enhanced version of CAS is also being developed.
Recruitment Portal
Institute has also developed Recruitment portal to receive online applications for the recruitment process and further processing of the received applications. The portal is completely integrated with the administrative ERP. The Recruitment portal has two variations - one for Faculty recruitment process and another for Non-Teaching recruitment process.
Academic Automation
Institute has also deployed an ERP solution – Shiksha - for various Academic Activities like Student registration, Student account, Semester registration, Course selection, Grade-book, Result processing, Reporting, etc.
A dedicated team provides support and assistance to users and community members for ERP usage. The team is also involved in adding new features and enhancements to the existing ERP solutions.
